Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

It is actually Thanksgiving. Holy Moly!!! I cannot believe it. The first of two fun holidays this winter. I am sitting here watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. One of those holiday traditions that I share with myself. No one else enjoys watching it like I do. It is just one of those things that I love during the holidays. I actually saw the parade live 5 years ago with my aunt and two cousins. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. It was one of those things that was on my bucket list. I froze my little bootie off!!! But it was so worth it. And you know what...I would totally do it again. If I lived in NY, I would go every year :-)

So you all are totally going to laugh at me for saying this. But on my way to work today I was thinking about Thanksgiving, my birthday, and Christmas. I was trying to figure out how many days away is Christmas...31 days. So then I was thinking my birthday is 16 days before Christmas. AND my birthday is 14 days after Thanksgiving. So I was born exactly in the middle of two of the most fun holidays of the year :) Then I got to thinking how exciting it must have been for my parents to welcome their second child right in the holiday season. I think that would just be the greatest gift ever hehehe ;-) Well yea...that was my exciting story lol

I am thankful for so many things that happened this year. It has been one amazing, fun-filled, exciting, crazy, emotional, stressful year. Ok, well I guess that is every.single.year. But this year just really stands out for me. I know we are being tested, but I also know that God will not give us more than we can handle. We are going through some rough times living with family as newlyweds, working in low paying jobs. But like my friend Kimberly always reminds me...we are just pulling closer together and our relationship just keeps getting stronger the more we are thrown. And I have to totally agree with her. Just like the Audrey Hepburn quote, "The best thing to hold onto in life, is each other." And we totally do.

I am thankful to be alive. To be breathing. To be living my life with those that I love.

I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving!! Cherish every.single.moment. you are sharing with your loved ones.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Lavar and I being on a strict budget has been one of the best things for me. It has taught me to manage my money better and really decifer through needs and wants. Although I don't always want to be strapped, it has been good for our relationship too, like you said! There is a time for every season! I am sending your package, I PROMISE! It just seems like something happens everytime I am at the post office. But I HAVEN'T forgotten! Love ya!

I think this year has been tough for a lot of people, me included! I bet you will look back on this time and remember all the sweet memories you are making, even if situations aren't ideal!
