Mmm Mmm Good :)

Tonight hubby made manicotti's...yes my hubby likes to cook, a lot actually. It's great because he gets lots of family recipes from his mom and grandma, which means we get home cooked Italian meals. And that means my tummy is very happy :)  I kind of helped him, but mainly I just took photos of him in action.

why hello there baby ;)

pour in all of the ricotta

then a small can of parmesean

two eggs

lots and lots of mozarella

some pepper

and salt

mix it all together, then stuff the shells

and stuff some more

hubby did like 10, i did like 4 (im ameatur)

pour sauce all over

and mozarella

of course you gotta have wine with italian meals

il risultato...delizioso
(the result...delicious)

I know I am terrible awful at giving you the recipe when hubby cooks. But it is difficult because he doesn't give exact measurements...he goes according to taste (all his family does). So I just cannot keep up, that is why I just take the photos and show you what a delicious meal we ate :) sorry ladies...I try.

Of course after this delicious meal, we had to have ice cream. Remember I am addicted to ice cream. No matter how full I am, I can eat me some ice cream :) Momma bought Blue Bell, that must be all there is here in Texas.  She got Moo-llennium Crunch and Pecan Pralines 'n Cream. Hubby and I got some of each. I liked the Pecan one better and hubby liked the Moo one better.

Hope you all had a yummy meal tonight like we did.

Blue Bell is the BEST, but there's also Braum's, and I personally recommend Breyer's mint chocolate chip. My fave. Oh, and I'm glad to see that even true Italians cheat a little and use bottled sauce! Whew!
