top 2 tuesday

So I wake up in the morning and it is bright blue skies, and I automatically think 'yay!! it would be a perfect beach day for hubby and me!!' Then I realize I am in Texas and not California, and well yea...

The beach in Oceanside, 2 blocks from our house (2008)

I linked up again with Taylor for her Tuesday posts. I love top 2 tuesday!!! I looked forward to seeing what the topic will be about.

Top 2 Favorite Jobs

Well this is kind of a weird post for me because until the end of October I have only had two jobs. Yes I am 26 and have only had two jobs, that probably is odd to most of you. And until recently I have never worked at a restaurant...strange huh? Most people while in high school or college work those jobs because of tips, I on the other hand worked in an office. So I'll tell you about my two jobs :)

{1} Human Resource Manager and Administrative Assistant~ I worked as an Administrative Assistant for 6 years at the vocational health school I have previously talked about. Then I finally got promoted, after I graduated college, to Human Resource Manager. I finally had a 'real' job. With 'real' responsibilities. It was nice. I was in charge of things and didn't always have to ask permission. :-)

{2} Preschool~ Teacher's Aide. I got this job my second year in college. All my girl friends worked there, so we all thought it would be fun to work together. It was at times, and at times it was difficult. I loved working with little kiddos...oh I totally had my favorites :) I made some great friends there too. One of my best friends, Kimberly, I met there. She was the receptionist, so on breaks I would always go visit her and chit chat. It was a fun place to work...I worked there for two years, then it was time to move on.

So I know my jobs aren't anything exciting. Actually I feel like this is the most boring post I have done because I have never had cool jobs lol

Have a wonderful Tuesday!! :-D

I dont think I could work with little children so I praise you for being able to. I actually started off going to school to be a 2nd grade teacher.. and then it got down to crunch time ... time to actually work with me, and I realized maybe this isnt for me, and I havent given up hope that maybe I can work with middle schoolers but not itty bitty ones! Hope you are having a wonderful day! :)

I'm 31 and have only had 1 full time job. I got the job right out of college and worked there for over 10 years until I got laid off last Oct. (BOOOOOO) :(
I've never worked in a restaurant, only animal hospitals while in High School and college.
