Need To Get My Bootie Movin'

I have been totally lazy and lethargic since moving here to Texas. I am so not in the mood to work out...not to mention that it is super cold outside to go running. We live with the folks so there isn't a whole lotta room to work out inside. These aren't excuses or are they??? Hubby and I have worked out a few times, but nothing compared to what we used to do. Every time we work out we say we will stick to it, but then it only lasts a couple days and we are done.

I hate this feeling. This feeling of unhealthiness. This feeling of everything looking awful on me. This feeling of unsexiness. I just do not feel myself. I have always had issues with my weight...I would say since 8th grade. I have this look embedded in my head and that is what I have to look like. I know everyone says the number on the scale shouldn't matter, but we all know it does...at least to me it does. If I look at the scale and it is higher than 120 I freak out. Seriously freak out. I go into starvation mode. I get in a horrible mood. I am so dedicated to working out. Also, if my size 4 jeans begin to feel tight (like they do now) I get my bootie moving!!

Well, we do not have a scale in our house...momma has never let us have a scale. Secret: I would weight myself at friend's houses or family member's houses or when I went to the doc. Being that we don't have a scale, I have no clue how much I weight. And to be honest, I probably do not want to know. My jeans are getting a bit tighter in the waist and it is making me feel like a fatty. My self esteem is going down hill...quickly!!! I don't wear lingerie for hubby anymore because I just do not feel sexy.

I just wish the motivation would come to me asap!! I need to work out. I need to eat healthier. I need to feel healthier. Things are going to change for us in the next couple weeks and with those changes in life, it better bring on some exercise. Seriously hard core exercises!!!! We don't have money for a gym, but hubby comes up with awesome work outs. We also like the work outs on bodyrock.tv, this girl will kick your bootie into shape in the blink of an eye. She does interval workouts with a sandbag weight at times. I would love to have a body like hers. Hubby tells me if we stick to it every.single.day. starting January 1st and if we eat healthier (we already do eat pretty well), then I can look like her before summer. We asked Santa (aka momma) for the interval timer and sandbag for Christmas :) We will see...

I wish I enjoyed running. Running burns so many calories. It strengthens your heart. When I do it, I feel amazing afterwards, but while I am running I dread it. Totally dread it!! How do you enjoying running?!?!?! Hubby loves it, but I just cannot keep up with him...at all :(

Maybe I will start a New Year's Work Out Challenge. Then we can all keep each other motivated and give accountability.

I have to get in the mood and get my bootie into shape.
I want to look and feel good for myself and for hubby.
I want to be in shape before I get pregnant.

How do you all keep your self esteem up?
What kind of work outs do you do?
What do you think of a 2011 Work Out Challenge??? :)

I feel the exact same way you do right now! And life is so busy, it's hard to squeeze in some extra exercise.
I don't know how your work schedule is, but could you work out in the mornings? Also, look into buying some cheap DVDs, like The Shred or the Jackie Warner ones --- they are amazing and you can get great results from just 20-30 minutes.
Also --- I would LOVE a Challenge! My biggest thing is having ppl keep me accountable. My friends here just use pills to lose weight and I totally don't want to do that, so having bloggie support would be amazing.

GOOD LUCK!

I am totally with you on the 2011 workout challenge!!
I feel awful about myself and I will work out for awhile then just stop. I am the heaviest I have ever been right now (except when I was pregnant). Growing up I was super super skinny to the point where I would get picked on because I was so thin. After I had my Son *cough cough* over 8 years ago I have had issues with my weight. I want to be healthy again!

Don't get down on yourself. It's always hard in the Winter to try and find motivation to work out! I love to run....and I find that a good upbeat playlist is a MUST. The hardest part is just stepping on the tredmill but once you get going it feels wonderful. I think switching your exercises up is also important or else you will get bored. I'll switch between: stair master, elliptical, and tredmill for cardio. I would definitely do a 2011 work out challenge with you!!! :)

My self-esteem is kind of low, only I'm in a worse situation than you about it because I've never had a boyfriend (not that I would wear anything but regular clothes around one). I'm plus-sized so I can't really run but I love to walk. When I first started I kind of had to make myself and after a while I added music, which made me want to walk. I took all the upbeat songs from my main playlist and made a list for listening to when I go walking. After a while, it became a motivator.

Maybe I missed it, but what changes are coming up?! Or do you just mean Christmas?

Good luck finding motivation! Let me know how you found yours, so I can find mine!

I definitely feel you when you are far from a gym it is hard to stay motivated on your own! If the gym is easy to get to...it is easy to stick to a routine!

And you are beautiful!I know that this post wasn't to get compliments..just to rant...but don't be silly, you are beautiful!

And I am sure that your hubby thinks your a the sexiest! :-)
