Girl.Scout.Cookies & A Movie & Frozen Yogurt

Good Monday Moring!!!

Saturday morning hubby had to work, so I spent the morning with momma. Haven't done that in a while so it was nice :) First we went to get her a diet coke of course from Mc.D's, then headed to the mall. The reason we ventured to the mall was to look for hubby's birthday present. His birthday is February 21st, but I needed to get an idea as to how much money I will have to save from my tips at Starbucks. Those tips are gonna buy him his birthday gift :) Well, I realized what I want to get him is a lot more than I thought. I am going to still try to get it for him, so I cannot post my idea on here. I have another money to save more tips :)
Then we went to Starbucks for my free iced coffee and white mocha for momma :) Now this is where my day turned from good to great!!! Momma pulled into the parking lot and low and behold I see little girlies selling stuff in front of the door. My thought was 'oh lordy it is girl scout cookie time. i am so in trouble now.' I cannot even tell you how excited I was to see these little girls. I walked up to them and bought a box of these
Caramel Delights :-D
I had the hugest smile on my face when I walked into my store. I get up to the register and I tell everyone how excited I am that it's Girl Scout Cookie Time!! Then of course, like every other person in American, they exclaimed to me how excited they are too :) They had already mentioned they finished off a box of wonderful Caramel Delights. As soon as I got back in the car, momma and I had to eat two one.

Later we went to see
I had no idea what this movie was about besides the fact that Gwyneth sang in it. I thought it was a great movie. She really has a great voice. I loved Tim McGraw in it. Ok well not really because he wasn't nice, but he did an amazing job acting. And that other dude, no clue on his name, but he has a great voice too!! Loved the movie, go see it!!!

Saturday night we watched The Social Network. Again, didn't know much about it besides it had to do with Facebook. It was ok. It was a little long. A little drawn out. They did good acting, but just not my cup of tea.

Sunday morning I worked and came home and all of a sudden got a cold. Serious, where in the world did it come from?!?!? My nose ran all afternoon. Didn't feel well enough to work out...mainly because it is a little difficult to breath.
Hubby and I hung out. Discussed our future plans some more ;)
Hubby made some delicious burritos, as usually. Seriously his burritos are so yummy!!
Way better than any Mexican restaurant I have been to.

Another thing that made this weekend go from good to great, is that Purple Berri is opened right around the corner :) It just opened the other day. It is literally walking distant...if it wasn't so darn cold. We are so super excited!! It is no Golden Spoon, but it will have to do while we are here in Texas. Hubby and I get the Cheesecake yummy!!!
Last night we had Cheesecake frozen yogurt with Caramel Delights on the top. Oh it was!! :)
Hope you all had a great weekend too :)

I <3 Girl Scout Cookies! My dad and I are addicted to the Thin Mints. One of his coworkers has a daughter who's in Girl Scouts so he gets a couple boxes each time she's selling them. Then he brings them home and puts them in the freezer. SO. Good. Especially if you break a couple up and add them as an ice cream sundae topping. My mom likes the peanut butter ones with the cookie and covered in chocolate. Can't remember what they're called, but it starts with an "s." Anyway, I snuck a couple over the summer when she had them. I now have a new favorite. :)

I LOVE Caramel Delights -- does anyone else remember when they were called Samoas???
Tim McGraw tends to play some ruthless characters -- what's up with that?!
