top 2 tuesday: Blogging

Well today is beautiful outside if you are looking out the window, but as soon as you step outside it is windy and chilly. Definitely need a jacket on if you are planning on being outdoors. I heard this morning we are supposedly getting another snow storm tomorrow or the next day?!?! Seriously, I just don't get it. There is not one cloud in the sky today how can we possibly get snow tonight?????

Top 2 Things I've Learned About Blogging

1. How alike so many of us ladies actually are. How much of the same things we are going through or have gone through. I love blogging and meeting new people through the blogging world. I know we don't know each other personally, but there are some of you that I enjoy emailing with and getting advice from or just venting and chatting. It is a whole new outlet for me and I love it :) I love being able to share my life with whoever is interested...and let me just tell you I never thought over 100 people would be interested in me or my life. Thank you so much!!! :)

2. You cannot always say everything you want. There is family/friends someone out there that will might get offended by something I vent about or talk about. This is one downfall for me as to how I blog. I know my family reads my blog, which is fine....although there are some people I know who read that I wish didn't know this existed, but oh well. I just wish sometimes I didn't let that stop me from how I blog. I wish I was just able to forget about it and blog my heart out. Blog about anything and everything. I wish I was like that. But I think blogging about things Tony and I go through or our sex life or wearing lingerie or what not would just be awkward for every person in my family to know. Any suggestions ladies?!?! I want to blog and not worry about those things. How do you do it?!?

Happy Tuesday!! :-)
Hope all you southern California's are enjoying your gorgeous weather. I cannot wait to get back there here soon ;)

Maybe you can create a blog that is private where you can invite people to join to discuss just that?! Just a thought :) Thats my suggestion. Hope it helps.

Hope you have a great Tuesday!

I completely agree with both of these! I love meeting women who are going through the same struggles I am. It makes me feel like I'm not the only one!

And, ALL of my family and friends know about my blog. It does make it heart to sincerly blog from the heart sometimes. :(

LOVE your blog!

I love both of these! I love each and every one of my blog friends. I never thought I could have friendships with people I've never met, but I feel like I know them so well.

Only a few family members know about my blog, so I don't worry too much about what I say. I try to use discretion though with everything. :)

Great tips and I LOVE what you said in number one! The more blogs I read the more I realize that we all kinda think alike!

I also try to use discretion when I blog. Even if few people know about it, the fact that it's on the Internet means it will be there forever and anyone could find it.

Perhaps Suze's idea about a private blog could help.

I don't want to have to write in separate places. Sometimes I'll write more personal things and keep the docs in my draft file. Some have been there for quite awhile. And some I finally deleted because the need to share has passed. And for some, I was able to rewrite it in a way that was more discreet but was also personal.

It is cool to see that we (bloggers) are more alike than not
