Get Up & Go

I wish we had the means to just get up and go. Travel. To see it all. The state. The country. The world.
Historical landmarks. Different foods. Different kinds of weather. Different people. I want to see it all!
Some trips we could drive and it be done in  a day. Others maybe a weekend. Others would take days or weeks to make it worth while.

There is a part of me that wants to just make it happen. Forget about the finances. Forget about missing so many days off work without pay. Forget about it all. Just do it. Then there is the logical part of me saying no way!! You have to plan. And save. And be smart about it all. The time will come, eventually right?

I want to see places with Tony before we have kids. I want to travel with him before we are held down by a family and/or animals. We aren't in a position to have kids or animals right now, not close at all. But I know sometimes life just happens and there is nothing that can be done about it. But, I would love for us to go to as many places as we can before God throws in a baby or two or three.

San Fransisco
{We have both been...just not together}
Santa Cruz
Sequoia National Park
{I've been}

I could go on and on: Portland. Seattle. Hawaii. Grand Canyon. Chicago. New York. Washington DC. Rhode Island. Nashville. Ireland. Italy. Canada. Turks & Caicos.

I realize we may not, most likely not, get to these places before we have kiddos. But they are on our bucket list. We may even travel with our kiddos to some of these places. Or we will just have the grandparents babysit :)

All of those places sound amazing! I wish I could just get up and go but like you said you have to plan and save. Boo for being responsible haha

that's the way we do it! haha! Also, it's nice to just take advantage of opportunities. My trip to Chicago was that way--Chris went on business, and I went for fun! I hope you get to do all these things. Many of them would be great with kids, too!

I think it is so special to have a bucket list together and strive as a couple with goals to check off together. Don't give up hope lady!!! Trust me, I am always brainstorming something :)
