A Great Birthday!

I had a wonderful birthday. Tony did an amazing job. He is so thoughtful and totally surprised me!!
On Friday morning, hubs snuck out of bed while I was still sleeping and went to pick up breakfast. He brought back Starbucks and Chik-Fil-A. Oh so yum!!! A delicious coffee and spicy chicken  biscuit.
What better way to start the day.
After breakfast Tony wanted me to open my gifts. I had no clue what he got me. The box was gigantic and I couldn't figure out for the life of me what I asked for that was so big. So that made it even more exciting.
This was in the box
A BEACH CRUISER!!!
I have always wanted one. Totally shocked. Totally surprised!!
I love it!!!
So long story short...the bike came in pieces, which they didn't tell Tony was the case. Tony and I tried to put it together, for almost two hours, and it just wasn't working. Sounds silly huh? But we couldn't figure out why the breaks weren't working properly. Putting the fenders on wrong. Totally frustrating.
So finally we gave in and he took it somewhere to be put together.
By time Tony got back from dropping it off and us getting ready it was lunch time.
{We were supposed to go down to San Diego or Huntington Beach to ride, but the whole bike being in pieces didn't let that happen. Tony was disappointed his plan didn't work out, but it's totally ok. My birthday was still wonderful}

We went to El Torito Grill for a margarita and chips and salsa. One of my favorite combos :)
{love him so much!!!}
{our drinks were pretty strong, so we had a little nap}

We went to see New Year's Eve before dinner.
Not the best movie. Had some cute scenes, but I definitely would save it for a rental.
Afterwards we went to Outback...of course!
Delicious dinner. Yummy drink. Amazing dessert.
{The brownie sundae was amazing!!!! Even though it was like 15,000 calories}
Oh...Tony also got me this birthday outfit.
The jeans, top and necklace.
All from Lucky.
He did so good!!!

 We picked up my bike on Saturday and dropped off Tony's, so I got to ride it for a few minutes.
We also decorated for Christmas {which all show tomorrow}.

Sunday it was pretty chilly out. I actually didn't get an iced espresso.
I went for a delicious Salted Caramel Mocha.
We headed to Costco for a pumpkin pie..yes another one for Tony.
We picked up his bike {needed tuned up} and then mom and Jim just came into town so they stopped by to drop off about a hundred Christmas gifts {which Ill show you tomorrow}.
Mom let us open one gift. I am sure this is one of the best, if not the best, Christmas gift we will receive.
A leather bound wedding album.
I am so in love with it. I have looked at it multiple times since last night.
Mom you did a fantastic job!!!
Definitely a priceless gift.
Thank you!!!

Oh and I cannot forget mom had Shari's Berries delivered to my work on Thursday.
The best chocolate covered strawberries...ever!!!

I had a wonderful birthday! I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Cannot wait for Tony and I to take the bikes to ride along the beach.
Super excited for that!!!

P.S. Thank you for all the birthday wishes!!!
P.S.S. And don't mind my black hair/really dark brown...the color I got was wrong. It was supposed to be brown and well I'm just waiting for it to fade.

Wow! Sounds like an amazing day!!! What is your favorite drink from Starbucks? When you say iced espresso...what exactly do you mean? An iced latte? Just curious- always looking for new drinks to try. ;)
