the weekend

Friday night we saw Act of Valor. You must see it! We really enjoyed it. It breaks my heart that so many families in our country deal with their husbands or wives being gone months at a time to protect our country AND other countries. These men and women are so brave and heroic! Their families are brave and heroic too! Loved this movie!

Saturday, Tony worked in the day so I decided to head on over to the mall. I haven't been shopping in quite sometime and let me just tell you how much of a failure it was. Now, what is the deal with all these cropped shirts?!?!? I am 28 years old, I am not about to walk around town with my stomach hanging out. Or the my shirt barely long enough to hit the top of my pants. Seriously!!! Not everyone in the world is 10 years old and hasn't a care in the world. I was totally disappointed. Maybe because I was shopping at the cheap stores, trying to make my spending limit go a long ways....

Although, Target did not disappoint. As it never does :) Target seriously, if my favorite or favorites. It is the best store EVER!! I found a super cute top, that I wore in the photos below. Once I got home, we decided to have a date night at Outback. I should seriously get some stock in that company. I got myself a Skinny Margarita...totally delicious :) Ate tons and tons of bread with honey butter. As always the food was yum!!

Once we got home, I decided to play around with my new phone app...the Photo Timer. Tony was tired of me taking so many pictures, but we never get them of us without one of our arms in the photo. So I was having fun :)

Sunday was a gorgeous, I mean beautiful!, day here in southern California. Tony convinced me it was a perfect day for a motorcycle ride, so for breakfast we headed to Starbucks for some couponing, then for lunch at a new place near us. Super cute atmosphere. Yummy food. We will totally be back.

Sunday afternoon I headed to Simi to hang out with Tiaja and little Shayleigh. Went to Jamba Juice and the park. Gorgeous! Oh I cannot wait for summer so every single day is like this. I am thinking Tony and I might have to head to the beach soon if this weather keeps up.
Anyways... Shayleigh was such a ham. Totally had me laughing. Talking it up. She is hilarious!
I totally forgot to get a picture of us three.

It was a great weekend! I wish weekends didn't have to end....
Oh don't we all.

sounds like a nice weekend together =)
I know what you mean about the arms in the photos - The Husband doesn't LOVE when I set up the tri-pod but it gets us pictures together when no one is around to take them for us =)

Ugh if only the work week was the opposite with double the pay! I would love a 5-day weekend ;)

Target IS the best! It's rare when that store lets me down.

We saw Act of Valor a few weeks ago too. It was SO good, and that Keith Urban song at the end? I am obsessed.
