The Counter

Saturday afternoon we headed to Marina Del Rey to try to escape the heat of the valley.
We figured going near the ocean would be much cooler. We were wrong. It wasn't really cooler at all.

I had heard about a burger place being better than The Habit, so I had to take Tony there to see if it was true. Because Tony has a love affair for The Habit. It is his favorite!!

The Counter is a restaurant where you build your own burger.
Any size. Any cheese. Any toppings. Any sauce. And bun.
Sounds amazing right?!?!
Oh and you can do a 50/50 where you pick two different sides.
Tony loves sweet potato fries and I love regular...we split :)
Tony's 2/3 lb. burger: cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, sauteed onions and
garlic aioli sauce.
My 1/3 lb. burger: pepper jack cheese, onion rings/strings, pickles and chipotle aioli sauce.
Seriously a challenge to fit this thing in my mouth. But oh so worth it!!
This place is delicious!!! Juicy. Fresh. Amazing!!
We couldn't finish it though. It was lots of food. We each probably left 1/3 of our burger.

My review: delicious!
Tony's review: delicious...but nothing beats The Habit!

I am a fan of the habit. We have one about 20 min from us. (West Covina) That is one big burger though. I love the sweetpotato fries. Yum!
