I had the brilliant idea of making a pizza from scratch. I had done this previously with my seestor and cousins a few years ago and thought it was fun. But I don't remember having as much trouble as we did....
We opened the pre-made dough, added a little flour and tried to knead/roll it out. It wasn't working.
Enter frustration on my part.
Tony thought throwing it up in the air might help. I didn't want to burst his bubble and tell him, just because he is Italian doesn't mean he knows how to throw pizza dough and make a perfectly round pizza pie.
So I let him try. And try....
no such luck.
Finally we decided to whip out the handy dandy Tuaca bottle. Nope, no rolling pin in these parts.
Who needs that when you've got bottles of liquor that not only get you drunk,
but can also roll dough.
And being that we do not have pizza stone, we improvised and used a skillet. Worked like a charm! :)
With our pizza we tried a new wine. Lazy Bones. Pretty mild flavor, but not bad.
And in this house you cannot have pizza without ice cream for dessert.
Absolutely deliciousness!

Yummmy!! I find that when using the TJ pizza dough, I open the bag and have to let it sit out for about 15 to 20 minutes if it is going to let me roll it out at all!
Looks delicious!
This looks delicious. My little one would LOVE. :)
