What I Do

Whenever you ask someone what they do, they first thing that comes to mind is there job, yes? But I don't think that should be the case. We shouldn't let our job define who we are. Because well, a lot of people have a job to survive, not because it is there passion or because it is truly who they are...but merely to survive.

I have been trying to think of a way to answer/blog about the topic from Jenni's BlogEveryDayInMay, What do you do? And well I am simply just going to tell you what I do, minus the job because well I don't really care for my job. It is just a means to survive right now.

am going to school to become an Ultrasound Tech with the hopes of working in a children's hospital

make my husband breakfast and lunch every single day

plan out our grocery list and meals for 2 weeks at a time

work out the moment I get home from work/school

love to eat healthy with a side of wine

text my seester more than we chat on the phone, but not a day goes by that we don't communicate

blog because I love sharing my story and reading about yours

photograph when I am feeling confident

have a heart for the disabled

am addicted to Instagram

love country music and sing at the top of my lungs when driving alone

most importantly I am a wife to Tony, a sister, and a daughter

that's what I do. This is me. Along with a million other things :)

This is SO true! Why is that the first question everyone asks? I'd rather you ask me what my favorite movie is than what I do.

I'm a wife to a Tony too. And I always sing and dance in the car.

This is great! Some jobs definitely define one's passion better than "teacher" for me *I think* tells people more of my passion than "systems analyst" does for my hubs! Ha!

Awesome picture!

A great list. In our culture our job often does define us more than anything else, but we are so much more than that. I am blessed to have the job I WANT to spend my time doing, but I am still more than that, so thank you for reminding us of that :)

Love it :) We must not let our jobs define us.
