Sun & Baseball {Day 1}

San Diego has a special place in our hearts. It is our favorite place.
My heart feels at peace when I am there. I feel at home. I feel like that is where I need to be.
One day...hopefully sooner than later.

Now on to less sappy and more photos :)
Coronado Island = happiness, pure joy and happiness!

Day 1} We were able to do an early check in. Thank God because I was dying to get in the pool and lay out. We enjoyed a few hours of sun, then headed across the bay to walk around downtown SD, grabbed some grub at Hodad's {as seen on Food Network}, and watched a Padres game.

The weather all day long, could not have been more beautiful. A slight slight breeze, warm and hardly any clouds. Hodad's is a must {in my book} if you like burgers and fries and beers in a mason jar ;) It was seriously delicious!! I got a cheeseburger, but Tony got a pastrami burger, aka Guido Burger....holy wow!!! :) :) Then off to have more beers and Cracker Jack at the baseball game where we had ah-mazing seats I might add. Thanks to StubHub! And to be honest, I'm all about the food and people watching, more so than watching the actual game...although it was a pretty good game.

Cheers!

Gorgeous pics! Looks like you had a great time!! I'm so glad you 2 were able to have a weekend away. My aunt and uncle and 2 cousins live in Vista, and always talk about how much they love SD!
