our 3 day weekend

Other than having a 3-day weekend, it is even more exciting that the week turns into a 4-day work week. Let the weekend countdown begin! :) I don't see Tony much or even talk to him much during the week, so I seriously cherish the weekends. This is going to be gushy, but he seriously makes me so happy. I love every minute I get to spend with him.
{Totally blurry, but I cannot get over the moment that's captured. I love it!}

Saturday morning turned in to an errand day some how. And with that I decided to be a little brave in the fashion dept and do  denim on denim. My chambray top is a little short, so it doesn't look great...oh well. Have you ever tried denim on denim?!?! I was kinda nervous, to be honest.

After an intense leg workout, that has made me waddle all weekend, we headed to an engagement party for a close friend. I've never been to an engagement party {apparently they are common}, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was pretty much just hanging out and a toast or two for the bride and groom. Something I didn't expect was to be asked to be in the wedding. Yup, I am going to be a bridesmaid :)
Sunday afternoon, we went shooting with the pops and two sisters. I did terribly...so we are just going to blame it on the fact that the sun was setting so it was hard to see the metal target, that blended in with the hill.
Later that night, we cuddled up on the couch with some Stella's and caught up on SOA and Walking Dead.

Monday afternoon we headed to Westlake Lake {I think that's what it's called} for a late lunch and a drink. It was so peaceful and enjoyable to eat overlooking the lake. I could totally get used to it.
 And that's a wrap. Another weekend in the books. Now to get this 4-day week to fly by.... happy tuesday!
